Yankee Tavern

While a dilapidated New York watering hole, a long-standing local institution, works to keep the lights on and doors open till the wrecking ball claims it, the small fraternity of regulars still gather to drink, swap tall tales, reminisce about the old days, and trade conspiracy theories.  From the Kennedy assassination to the moon landings, they debate the reality of the official history of the 20th Century, but when a stranger enters the bar and orders a drink for himself and an absent friend, the topic turns to the questions and catastrophes that launched the new millennium.
