This year’s iteration of The Music Gallery’s X Avant festival seeks to encourage the fusion of disciplines and genres beyond the boundaries of generations, cultures, genres and time. X Avant XVII: LifeWorld dives deep into various global and local cultures and encourages collaboration. It is intergenerational. It is traditional. It is experimental. It dreams of a world where we can hold the past, present, and future at the same time.
The X Avant XVII Festival Pass includes:
October 12 – X Avant XVII: Rebetika
October 13 – X Avant XVII: namamahay (to dwell)
October 14 – X Avant XVII: Bijuriya
October 15 – X Avant XVII: Big Family House Party
ACCESSIBILITY INFO
918 Bathurst, is not currently wheelchair accessible due to stairs (two half-flights to enter the performance space, and one flight to access the washrooms).
