Wine + Design

The premise for this program is simple – each participant will be presented with a Froebel gift, a set of LEGO, a refreshment of your choice, and a fun design challenge, while listening to some iconic jazz in the cozy space of our Solar House! The workshop will be facilitated by our longtime collaborator John M. Reynolds, Miami University Professor of Architecture.

Instructor: John Reynolds is a Registered Architect (Virginia), Professor of Architecture, and Coordinator of International Programs in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at Miami University. He directed Architecture Graduate Studies 2001-2010. He is the recipient of Miami University's 2022 E. Phillip Knox Distinguished Teaching Award. He has collaborated with the Westcott House for almost two decades, serving over 250 undergraduate and graduate college students, as well as leading workshops for our region's high school students.

In addition to Wine + Design, John will also facilitate a special workshop for IB students from the Springfield High School.
