For many Armenian parents, it’s a dream come true when their child finds an Armenian spouse. But as soon as the wedding planning commences, that’s when the problems – and the comedy – begin.
The sequel to the original hit play, Where Is Your Groom? (Փեսադ Ո՞ւր Է:), will debut for the Los Angeles community on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., at the AGBU Manoukian Performing Arts Center.
Following a dozen performances around the country, America’s favorite Armenian family returns in this funny, smart, and culturally relevant play, written by Taleen Babayan that ties together elements of the Armenian-American experience that is relatable to all generations. Running time is 90 minutes plus intermission. Play is in English with some Armenian.
The cast and crew includes: Harout Soghomonian, Maro Ajemian, Sarineh Garapetian, Sossy Varjabedian, Aleen Vartkessian, Henry Abadjian, Zaven Demirjian, Joseph Hovsepian, Mardik Iskenderian, Raffi Rupchian, Sharis Simonian, Aleen Khanjian, Deepender Singh, George Semerjian, Haig Hovnanian, Asdghig Abadjian, Arevig Abadjian and Hannah Pollock.
