Weedeater w/ Rebelmatic, Adam Faucett, Wax Brain

The infamous sludge outlaws WEEDEATER finally make their way to Morgantown, West Virginia at 123 Pleasant Street Wednesday April 20th 2022.

They bring with them New York's REBELMATIC and Arkansas singer songwriter ADAM FAUCETT with local support by Morgantown's WAX BRAIN and hosted by Morgantown comedian Cody Cannon.

Weedeater are a sludge metal band from Wilmington, North Carolina. Formed in 1996, Weedeater have since released five full-length albums and have performed on multiple tours and festivals around the world. Their loud heavy sound is a fusion of doom metal, hardcore, and in this case stoner rock/metal.

Firmly rooted in New York's Punk and Hardcore ancestry, Rebelmatic has self-sworn hip-hop purists, moshing alongside skate punks but if you're wondering what Rebelmatic sounds like, the guys came up with a phrase a while back calling it "James Brown in a moshpit"

Hailing from Little Rock, Arkansas, Adam Faucett is most known for his powerful, almost operatic voice and intricate finger-picking. The Arkansas native’s sound has been described by The Arkansas Times as “somewhere between Otis Redding’s soul shout and Cat Power’s swampy poeticism”.

Founded in 2015, Wax Brain is a 4-Piece Stoner Metal band from Morgantown, West Virginia. These guys use a various collection of influences to bring forth a heavy, blisteringly riff-filled, sludgy, unique flavor of Appalachian Stoner Metal.
