The Veterans Breakfast Club invites you to celebrate the opening of its new Western Pennsylvania Veterans Archive at the Senator John Heinz History Center.
This permanent collection will contain the hundreds of veterans’ stories told on audio and video that we’ve collected through our Veteran Voices of Pittsburgh Oral History Project over the past six years.
The Veterans Breakfast Club is a nonprofit with a single mission: to give every veteran a chance to share his or her story. We invite you to join our effort to share, celebrate, and preserve veterans’ stories by supporting this event.

Since 2008, the Veterans Breakfast Club has hosted over 2,500 different people at almost 200 storytelling events and captured almost 300 veteran histories through sit-down interviews. For veterans, our programs provide an opportunity to bear witness to what they’ve done and seen. For non-veterans, our events offer an eye-opening chance to hear stories of war and peace and say thank you to those who’ve served.
Our veterans need to tell their stories. We need to hear them. Your support of this unique event helps us to share, celebrate, and preserve their stories, our history.
