A hallmark of TerraVita, the Sustainable Classroom is the perfect fit for any food and drink lover. Think culinary workshops, food and beverage tastings and demonstrations, discussions, and educational sessions all wrapped into one! Classroom sessions range in topic, but share a focus on sustainability and feature visionary producers, chefs, journalists, cookbook authors, food artisans, brewers, bakers, distillers, authors, and industry phenoms offering insights and delicious tastes that will stimulate all the senses. Participants may choose to attend up to 3 classes for this Friday class pass, each of which is 1 hour and 15 minutes long. Before purchasing, please click here to take a look at the topics, classroom schedule and locations!
After purchasing your ticket, you will receive a follow up email to choose your classes (first purchased, first served). You will have the opportunity to choose one class per time slot at 9 am, 10:45 am, and 1 pm. Please be on the lookout for your survey and respond quickly to ensure you get your desired class picks. You will receive a confirmation email the week before the event with your class choices, times, and locations.
As in past years, there are two locations. Either the Cooking School at Southern Season at University Place or The Great Room at Top of the Hill on East Franklin Street. There is plenty of parking in a lot less that one block from The Great Room and we'll have specific instructions for you, if you choose to go to classes at that location.
* These classes are limited in size and chefs must generally prepare food for a group of 40 in one dish. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, there may be dishes you can not taste and they may not have an alternative. We will do our best to accommodate, but sometimes it's not possible to have an alternative. Our primary objective is your safety, so if you have a concern, please reach out to us via http://www.terravitafest.com/contact.php and we'll let you know if we can accommodate.
