SCIT's signature jubliee of improv and live storytelling.
Each show we invite a dignified guest to fill-in for Johnstown, PA's own Mr. Keaton, while he's off being a caped crusader or an emissary of the afterlife or just a Birdman -- whatever his excuse this month! Our special guest's true life stories will inspire a night of improv. The show is a blend of storytelling and improv that you will not want to miss.
Going under the cowl this month is author and raconteur Alan Olifson! Alan will shared real, true life stories with a special theme of "altered states of conscious" (for obvious reasons...)
You might know Alan as an award-winning humor columnist, public radio commentator, comedian or the regular host of Pittsburgh's monthly Moth StorySLAMs. He created the acclaimed storytelling series WordPlay in his hometown of Los Angeles which he now produces in Pittsburgh along with Bricolage Production Company as part of their regular season. His book, ManChild: My Life Without Adult Supervision, is out now, on Six Gallery Press.
