When the Roots Music Series came to an end in 2015, a group of music aficionados explored the idea of continuing, and even expanding, the project. In early 2016, the Highlands American Music Series (HAMS) was born. For 12 years, The Roots Music Series featured semi-annual concerts featuring the greats of American Roots music -- Rhonda Vincent, The Seldom Scene, Frank Solivan, Dailey and Vincent and many others. The Highlands American Music Series promises to bring more of the great performances of Bluegrass, Folk, Celtic and other American music to the Highlands of Western Maryland. 

We invite you to join us for an exciting evening of music on Saturday, November 5, 2016. The innaurgural concert features the return of The Gibson Brothers to the Palace Theatre in Frostburg, MD.
