The Elemental

Two words: rock alchemy. This Pittsburgh-based, rock-solid, genre-blending band takes the fundamental components of rock and mixes 'em with other genres in a mind-blowing “rock and/or roll” cocktail. The combination of a sweet-voiced female singer that packs a smoky punch and killer guitar licks results in a dynamic range of smart, sexy originals, and unconventional covers. This prolific songwriting team features singer-songwriter/bassist Gerra Bosco, guitarist Justin Knizek with his uniquely rhythmic riffs that are perfectly complemented by guitarist Dan Pryor’s ax-grinding solos, and complex, wicked grooves by drummer Justin Hackett. From hard rock riffs to soulful ballads, Gerra’s ear-rousing, brain-candy lyrics reveal compassion, disappointment, and hope. The band is electric on stage; they’re dynamic and playful - sitting on the edge of the stage and hangin’ with the audience - what a blast!

They've teamed up with local DIY label, Dig Sonic Records, started by visionary, guitarist, and local steamfitter, Bill Zeker.
