With the help of Yondr bags, we at the Comedy Store create phone-free spaces for artists and comedians.  

What that means: Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches are placed in Yondr cases and will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of these items at all times. Guests may also access their phones at any time only in the designated Phone Use Areas throughout the venue. All phones will be re-secured upon returning to the event space.

Anyone seen using a device during the performance in a non-designated area will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.

The Best of San Diego is San Diego's longest running local showcase that has helped launch the careers of some of the top comedians in the industry today.  You will see comedians from all levels from opener to headliner, going back to back to back, making you laugh from start to finish.  This is the show that will allow you to say, "I remember seeing them at the La Jolla Comedy Store way back in..."

 

Former Best of San Diego alumni include Taylor Tomlinson(Netflix, Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing) Bobby Lee (MadTV, Comedy Central, Showtime) Taylor Williamson (AGT Finalist) Vicki Barbolak (Nick at Nite's Funniest Mom in America winner, AGT finalist) Dat Phan (original winner of Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central) and Fazon Love (BET's Comic View, Friday, Elf, Wild 'N Out)

 

Some of the current Best of San Diego Comedians include Mal Hall, Jason Lawhead (Gotham Comedy Live, Last Comic Standing), Zoltan Kaszas (DryBar Comedy, Man Up Stand Up,) and Dustin Nickerson (Comedy Central, Laughs).
