If you are interested in how to tell great stories from the stage and see how all the moments in your life can be told in a compelling, funny and dramatic way, this workshop is a great jumping off point!
Kevin James Doyle has been a comedian and storyteller in New York City for 15 years. He has taken his stand up and storytelling shows to Edinburgh Fringe two times and won best solo comedy at the New York Fringe Festival. He has been featured on the Risk! and Mortified podcasts and his first stand up special The 30 Year Old Virgin is available on Amazon Prime.
His stories are both funny and at times heartwrenching. A courtroom saga from suing his landlord, breaking off an engagement a month before the wedding, a host of doctors appointments for an STI when he lost his virginity at age 30, loaning a girl from a dating app $15,000. All incredibly painful moments as they happened in life but wonderful fodder for the stage as dramatic painful things happen to everyone every day.
Participants should bring a 5 minute story to the workshop that you're ready to tell.
The workshop is $60, but if you register by May 13th, get $10 off!
