FRAMING THE FUNNY with Ti Coleman

Part of Our Summer Workshop Series
This advanced improv workshop will focus on framing the funny idea in monologues,
openings and first beats. We will practice how to communicate the frame through
initiations, character choices and point of view. This workshop does require some
experience, intermediate level and above.
TI COLEMAN BIO
Ti Coleman has taught and performed improv for the past 10 years. They are a veteran member of the Baltimore Improv Group mainstage. As a founding member of Casually Dope, they have performed and featured in many cities such as Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh, Richmond, Calgary and Toronto.
They are an experienced teacher, teaching BIG University classes: Intro to Improv, Intro to Longform, Scene work, Advanced Shortform and Ensemble.
They are an experienced corporate trainer including applied improv, role play and corporate sketch.
They work with organizations such as Maryland Improv Collective,Wombwork Productions, Creative Alliance and Young Audiences of Maryland to deliver
culturally relevant youth programming and accessible improv training.
