Experience the thrill of being an engineer as you take the reins of a real steam locomotive during our exclusive "Be the Engineer" event. This rare opportunity allows you to immerse yourself in the world of steam railroading like never before. Under the guidance of seasoned railroad professionals, you'll have the chance to blow the whistle, operate the engine, and shovel coal in the firebox.
Join us for this unforgettable adventure. Please note that this experience is exclusively for individuals aged 18 and above with a valid drivers license, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants.
During the one-hour session, you'll receive comprehensive instruction, including a safety briefing, to ensure you're well-prepared for your time as an engineer. With a minimal number of tickets available, this intimate experience guarantees a personalized and hands-on encounter with the steam locomotive.
The star of the show is the renowned Jeddo Coal #85 steam engine. Step into the engineer's seat and the fireman's seat as you alternate positions with your partner throughout the session. This unique arrangement allows both individuals to fully immerse themselves in the various responsibilities of operating the locomotive.
Act swiftly to secure your spot for this limited-time event. Be part of history and fulfill your dreams of becoming a steam locomotive engineer. Book your tickets now and embark on an unforgettable journey into the world of steam railroading.
Note: You must arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled run. A safety briefing will take place before your run time to maximize the time you have to operate the engine.
This summer program has limited availability, so don't delay.
