Stand By Me 30th Anniversary Excursion

It's been 30 years since the boys of Castle Rock had to out run the McCloud #25 and we invite you to come celebrate with us! Enjoy the movie showing, then climb aboard this 3 hour special excursion from Garibaldi to Wheeler powered by the one and only McCloud Railway #25. 

As our special guest and fireman for this trip, we present Martin E. Hansen, the man who fired the #25 during film production. Martin will be reprising his role from the movie as he once again climbs into the cab of #25 to run her to Wheeler and back.

Martin will be available before and after the run to answer questions about the movie and the memorable scene over the high bridge for which #25 became famous. Hear how he came to be in the "hot seat" and has shared a close bond with the beautiful steam engine ever since. For fans of the movie, this will be a once in a lifetime experiance.
