Staged Reading: The Verge

Off-Broadway troupes Classic Stage Company and Fiasco Theater join forces with Hedgepig Ensemble Theatre’s Expand the Canon to celebrate an American classic: The Verge by Susan Glaspell.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. | Reading begins at 7:30 p.m.

All tickets include complimentary wine and access to the Conservatory before the reading. Additional refreshments available for purchase.

Know Before You Go

• Advance tickets required. This event is for ages 14 and up.


• Enter at 990 Washington Avenue. Nearest subways: 2/3 to Eastern Parkway—Brooklyn Museum or 4/5 to Franklin Avenue (no elevator).


• Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The event takes place in the Conservatory and other areas of the Garden are closed.


• The reading lasts approximately 2 hours, with a 15-minute intermission. There is no reentry.


• Purchase a Reserved Seating Ticket to guarantee a spot in the first three rows. Otherwise, seating is first-come, first-served.
