2017 Spirit of the West

Relive the sights and sounds of the old west at the Spirit of the West Cowboy Gathering where poets, musicians, and cowboys turn the streets of Historic Downtown Ellensburg into a living postcard.  This festival offers a wide range of events that reflect a by gone era - Western Gear and Art Show, Dance, Concerts, Dutch Oven Cooking, Fiddle Contest, Cowboy Church, Workshops, Demonstrations, and Ranch Roping along with Free kids activities - all fused into a great family-friendly community event.

Singers and poets can be heard at main stage concerts, Free downtown venues and open-mic sessions.  There is something for everyone at Spirit of the West!
