SPIRIT New Year's Eve 2023

The Hall will host an extremely rare performance by legendary Detroit house pioneers Inner City. Formed by record producer, composer and international DJ Kevin Saunderson, plus vocalist Paris Grey, Inner City are best known for their iconic hits “Good Life” and “Big Fun”. Further success saw the group topping the US Billboard dance chart five times and securing nine Top 40 hits on the UK singles chart.

On opening duties is an equally rare appearance by hometown heroes Pittsburgh Track Authority.

Kicking off the stage in the Lodge will be none other than Century III, our favorite yinzer power pop, surf rock party starters.

Taking us into the new year is Kahone Concept – pop maximalism at it’s finest. Expect an onslaught of ear worm hooks and flashing lights added to top-notch live vocals. Feel good sing-along bops that make you want to join in, even if you don't know the words ….*yet*.

Next up is Sweat – the purest form of classic rock we know of from our pool of favorites in Pittsburgh.

Closing us out is Dopamine. This is reverb-drenched showmanship as much as they are a dystopian bizzaro-pop time capsule. Haunting, captivating, and ultimately fun. The perfect way to wrap the night up…or send you to the afterparty.

Before they take the stage though, Spirit’s culinary team will be preparing a traditional Polish pre-party dinner, soundtracked by a DJ set from WYEP’s Brian Siewiorek. The dinner will feature a three-course prix fixe meal paired with a welcome cocktail for $50 per person. This also includes tickets to the party as well as gratuity, so it’s a great way to kick the night off. Additional alcoholic beverages will be sold a la carte.
