Late show from 9:30-11:15pm

The San Francisco-based team behind the erotic fanfic competition Shipwreck is coming to Emerald City Comicon for one night of shows based on The Sandman comic book series. Featured writers Peter Mountford, Seanan McGuire, Scott Westerfeld, and Matt Fraction (and two more TBA) write fanfic based on characters from The Sandman universe, and you decide the winner before we reveal who wrote what. How? All fics are read to you by our Thespian-in-Residence Baruch Porras-Hernandez.

See! Six respected writers debase themselves for applause and dick jokes. Marvel! As beloved characters are plucked from their worlds and made to do stuff they were never meant to do in places they were never meant to see. Pray! That you never have to sit on stage and face a crowd while someone else reads your fanfic. Drink! A lot, probably.

Please note: No children are ever harmed at Shipwreck, and consent and inclusion are paramount.

Shipwreck is brought to you by Amy Stephenson, Casey Childers, The Booksmith, and Book Riot. Books will be for sale on site by The Elliott Bay Book Company.

*Please note that you do NOT need an Emerald City Comicon badge to attend this show.
