Scary Music

Just like the name says, treat yourself to a bone-chilling bounty of music that will put you in the Halloween spirit. The orchestra will perform familiar favorites such as Mussorgsky's "Night on Bald Mountain," but we will also venture into the shadowy unknown by playing "Silent Scream of the Earth" from Ruth Crawford Seeger. Making its world premiere, Graham Plowman's "The Rats in the Walls" will be sure to conjure up a scary good time while the audience participates in a wicked-fun costume contest!
