On Saturday, January 14, 2017, Cape Cinema in Dennis, MA will host the international premiere of Saving Sea Turtles: Preventing Extinction, a film about heroism and the circle of life by Seattle-based Interchange Media. This feature-length documentary film highlights the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of critically endangered Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles stranded on the beaches of Cape Cod Bay in 2014.
All proceeds will benefit Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
The film begins at 4:00 P.M. and runs approximately 68 minutes. A panel discussion and question and answer period will take place immediately following the film and will include the filmmakers and representatives from Wellfleet Bay, New England Aquarium, and NOAA. A special VIP reception with an opportunity to meet and talk one-on-one with the filmmakers will take place from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Cape Cod Museum of Art.
