Salsa in the Heights

Join us at the Betty Jayne for a fun evening of cocktails and Salsa dancing! Ed and Beverly Caballero will guide first-time and returning dancers through the steps to teach you the basics of Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata. The dance lesson is designed for those with no dance experience so don't worry about being embarrassed or standing out - almost everyone will be learning for their first time! Guests are encouraged to just enjoy dancing and improve their partner dancing skills. This event appeals to all ages and cultures. All skill levels welcome!

The evening will begin with a one-hour dance lesson and continue into a social where the DJ will spin some upbeat Salsa tunes as well as Cha-Cha, Bachata, Merengue, Tango, Reggaeton, R&B, and Cumbia. Bring a friend or come solo!

The Betty offers a full-service bar, and feel free to bring your own dinner or snack. (No outside beverage is permitted.) Dress comfortably for dancing with shoes you can move in!
