Salsa in the Heights

Join us at the Betty Jayne for a fun evening of cocktails and Salsa dancing! Ed and Beverly Caballero will be back to guide new and returning dancers through the steps and teach you the basics of Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata. The dance lesson is designed for those with no dance experience so don't worry about being embarrassed or standing out - almost everyone will be learning for their first time! Guests are encouraged to just enjoy the dance and improve their partner dancing skills. All skill levels are welcome! This event appeals to all ages and cultures.

The evening will begin with dance lessons and progress into a social where the DJ will spin some upbeat Salsa tunes as well as Cha-Cha, Bachata, Merengue, Tango, Reggaeton, R&B, and Cumbia. Bring a friend or come solo!

The Betty offers a full-service bar, but feel free to bring your own dinner or snack. (No outside beverage is permitted.) Dress comfortably for dancing with shoes you can move in.
