Roulette Intermedium x Music Gallery

The Music Gallery, in partnership with Roulette Intermedium, presents a cross-border residency and performance project bridging Toronto and New York’s experimental music communities.

Teaming up with New York’s Roulette we’ve paired two artists tasked with finding a shared voice. 

From February 3-7, 2025, Toronto-based artist Allison Cameron and New York-based artist Madeline Stepien (fka pent) will collaborate at The Music Gallery to create a new, experimental electronic work bending the possibilities of spatial acoustics through synthetic means. The residency will bring together Madeline’s electronic practice with Allison’s improvisational found sound and piano, culminating in performances on February 7 in Toronto and February 28 in New York.

Opening the night in Toronto is John Kameel Farah centering his practice of combining piano and organ with synthesizers and effects processing.
