Roots in the USA: France

As a nation of immigrants many roots were imported into the US and planted in various states as people moved westward.  In this class we will explore the wines that started from significant French varietals, from California's self proclaimed Rhone Rangers and Meritage Society iconic varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Malbec, Grenache, along with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir to Burgundy.
