Rockery Walk and Talk 2025

Join us on April 5th and 6th for a Walk and Talk during our Lyndhurst in Bloom Flower Show event! Take in the fresh air and get some exercise in the beautiful, park-like landscape at Lyndhurst. Experts will share their knowledge about the rare trees and the gardens hosted on the property.  During this particular Walk and Talk, Don Dembowski will discuss the beautiful Rockeries and the plants that grow there. Dembowski is the Chair of the Hudson Valley Chapter of the North American Rock Garden Society. He selflessly donates his time to help maintain these rock gardens. Join this Walk and Talk for a look at Lyndhurst's unique Rockeries and tips about growing rock garden plants! This tour will begin at 12pm and last approximately 45 minutes.  The group will meet by the bench outside of the Welcome Center, look for the Walk and Talk sign.

• Please be advised that this tour requires long periods of standing and walking over uneven ground.  Wear comfortable shoes!


• A limited number of tickets are available for each event, and events do sell out. 


• Some tickets may be available for purchase on-site, but these are not guaranteed. 


• Please arrive 15 minutes before the entry time on your ticket. If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee it.


• Check-in at the Welcome Center.


• All ticket purchases are non-refundable.


• A Grounds Pass is not needed if you already have a Tour or Event Ticket. 


• This ticket does not include access to the mansion.
