Leave your 3D glasses at home and prepare for a rollicking journey into the past with the technology of the future. A unique collaboration between the Milwaukee theatre community and two diverse colleges within Marquette University, this drastically abridged version of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, adapted into a one-hour, three person play, utilizes the latest advancements in 3D imaging technology to create a believable city of Verona around the live actors on the set.

The show will be performed using the Unrehearsed Shakespeare technique, meaning the actors will be neither memorized nor aware of any planned action as the show progresses. Instead, each actor holds a scroll containing only his/her lines and cues, resulting in a highly comic, spontaneous performance.
