Red River Party

We are hosting the fifth annual Red River Party on Friday night, October 12th, at Eddie Deen’s Ranch. Same time, same place, same two Hideous Bars as last year, plus much more. Included is beer, premium liquors, wine & margaritas. People’s Choice is playing on the inside stage from 10-2. Additionally, we added an extra outside seating area with more live music. Hopefully, it will have cooled off by then and you won’t sweat out during your smoke break. The face painters are back this year and they are bringing friends. There will be three (3) face painters PLUS an airbrush t-shirt artist making custom tees just like you get out at the fair. As always, breakfast tacos will be provided for late night along with a few other surprises.

Important: All purchases must be done before the date of the party. It is important to make sure to buy ahead of time because there will be no sales at the door and no fences to jump over or tarp to tear through on the side. Last year we sold out a few days before hand so this isn’t just a sales tactic anymore.

NEW THIS YEAR: In order to avoid the long lines that can build up the night of the party, you can go by Eddie Deen’s and pick up your wristbands earlier in the week. There will be specific instructions as to who can pick up wristbands, when, and where this can be done. This email will follow your ticket purchase SO PLEASE READ THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL. This is different than we have done in the past so PLEASE pay attention to the emails.

FAQ's: We have tried to address some of the problems that these types of parties are known to have had in the past so here you go.


-Can I get a drink? There will be numerous bar setups throughout the venue in all corners and sides, beer troughs, etc so there is not one big clusterf*** that you have to wait all night in to be served by a dejected bartender.

-Can I buy tickets at the door? No, all reservations must be made before the party. Keep out the riff raff.

-Will I have to wait outside in a line while everyone else is inside having fun? No, this is one of the ideas behind no purchases at the door ( along with venue policy). We will not sell more tickets than capacity so there will be no one in one out business.

-Can my OU friends come? You have OU friends? We didn’t seem to have a problem with this last year so please follow the same policy. This is a judgment call on both parts. Are they brave/smart/stupid enough to try it and not be an obnoxious clown and are you willing to vouch for them? There will be no fighting or "Boomer Sooner" tolerated and all associated parties will be asked/forced to leave. Don’t ruin the best weekend of the year for everyone by bringing that guy.

-My girlfriend in 16, can she get in? No, you MUST be 21 to attend the party.

-Can I park there? Yes, but as usual with the rest of Dallas parking is not free. $5 a car at the venue. Cabs or some other form of transportation recommended.

-Are there any job openings? Negative

-I found something cooler to do but I already paid. Can I get my money back? No. There are NO REFUNDS

-I’m kinda lame, will I have a good time? Probably not.
