FAQ

How many people can fit on a wagon?

Your private wagon ride can seat up to 23 adults/youth. Children under 2 who are able to remain seated on the lap of an adult do not count towards this capacity. Wagons can accommodate up to 10 additional guests who are 2 and under so long as they remain seated on a lap. 

Are these the only time slots available for private rides?

The time slots advertised are the only ones we can guarantee will have availability for private rides specifically. Due to the nature of  private rides, we are only able to offer a time slot until it begins to receive public bookings. Since our slots fill up quickly, it becomes difficult to offer public and private rides on a first-come-first-serve basis without risking them being booked by multiple parties. To avoid confusion (both on your end and ours), we have pulled aside some specific time slots that can only be purchased privately. The website is only allowing me to purchase 1 ticket per booking time. Is this correct?

Yes, this is correct! The quantity of 1 represents the single private ride that you are purchasing, and has no connection with the number of guests on the private ride. 

Are tickets available at the gate?
Tickets are not available at the Front Gate as it is closed for the season. They must be pre-purchased online. 

Are the train and streetcars running?
No, the streetcar or the train are not running.

Will any buildings be open?
No buildings within Fort Edmonton Park are open to the Public during your experience, excluding your specified hot chocolate pickup location.

Is parking available?

Parking for all 2025 private wagon rides will be in Lot G and guests will meet outside Bill's Confectionary (1920s Street).

How do I get there?
There are many city streets in the vicinity that have signs that direct to Fort Edmonton Park. Take Fox Drive to Fort Edmonton Park Road and follow the road until you see the Fort Edmonton Park service road. There you will be greeted by the guardhouse and directed to your designated parking lot.

What happens if I am running late?
Wagons leave promptly 10 minutes after the event start time. If you arrive later than that you will miss your wagon/booking. There will be no refunds for being late.
