Event Description

The City of La Porte celebrates the 35th anniversary of Prancer, filmed in La Porte and Three Oaks, Mich., with PrancerPalooza on Sunday, December 15, at the La Porte Civic Auditorium. 




The festivities include a screening of the 1989 Christmas classic followed by a Q&A featuring director John Hancock, star Sam Elliott and other members of the cast. Doors open at 1:30 p.m., with the movie showing at 3. Other activities planned include appearances by Santa Claus and live reindeer, as well as giving opportunities to local charities. 



Floor General Admission tickets cost $8 and Balcony General Admission tickets cost $5. Tickets are available online at www.laportecivicauditorium.com or at the Civic Auditorium Office (1001 Ridge Street) from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays. 




Additionally, sponsorship packages are available which include options to attend a cast luncheon and reserve seating at the front of the floor.
