PAX Dev 2019

Taking place during the week before PAX West, we’ve dedicated two days entirely to the developer community for the craft that is game making. PAX Dev is about elevating the art of the process and creating a place to share, debate and learn. With no press access, developers can speak freely and focus entirely on their trade in a safe and comfortable environment. PAX Dev is open to developers and game creators only and all attendees must be 18+ years old to attend.

The GamesIndustry.biz Investment Summit returns for its second US show. Taking place on Wednesday, August 28th - during PAX Dev and just before PAX West - the event designed to connect independent game creators with investment firms and publishers.

Split into three segments, the morning will feature a series of talks and panels from leading publishers and investors on how to get your game noticed, signed and funded, followed by a networking lunch, where you have a chance to talk with the speakers and leading investors and publishers in the room.

Finally, in the afternoon we will hold a series of short 1-to-1 meetings between developers and investors/publishers. Once you've bought a ticket, the GamesIndustry.biz team will ask you to fill in a form to enter the meeting system. Publishers and investors will then decide whether to meet with you. A ticket does not guarantee meetings, although the team will facilitate introductions where possible.
