Are you interested in publishing a book but don't know where to start? Looking for an agent but not sure how to write a query letter? Trying to self-publish your novel? Wanting to make connections with other writers?
Join us for Pathways to Publishing, a daylong expo at Bronx Library Center. Learn to navigate the world of publishing with hands-on workshops, panels, giveaways, and more! Authors, editors, agents, community writers' organizations, and beyond will come together for discussions and sessions on all things publishing.
At this event, you can:
- Pick up free giveaways — while supplies last
- Participate in hands-on workshops
- Learn to write query letters
- Meet editors, agents, and industry professionals
- Get a free author headshot
- Attend informational panels on writing and publishing
- Enter a raffle to win an NYPL Writers Prize Pack
- and much more!
Giveaway books and tote bags will be available while supplies last. All giveaways are first come, first served and limited to one per person.
Free author photos will be available throughout the day! Headshots will be available until 3:45 PM.
Plus, all attendees will be entered into a prize raffle for an exclusive NYPL Writers Prize Pack. Arrive early to collect your raffle ticket! Winners will be announced at 3 PM, and all raffle prizes must be collected on the program date. Raffle tickets are non-transferrable and limited to one per person.

TICKETS
Registration is required for this event. Please register for an In-Person Ticket to attend.
Attendees can check in between the hours of 11 AM-3:30 PM. Doors will open at 11 AM.
Admission will end at 3:30 PM.
If you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or suspect you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive, please stay home.
