After our success last year, the NYC Winter Lantern Festival is back to transform Staten Island’s Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden into a whimsical world of light. There will be over 1,000 lanterns on display, sculpted into magnificent figures of luminescent art. Bring your whole family to revel in eight acres of lights, live cultural shows, interactive exhibits, and more. 

For those of you who attended last year’s event, prepare yourself for a completely fresh, new, and unique display!

Hours: 
Wednesday, Thursday: 5:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 5:00 pm - 10: 30pm
Monday: Closed
Tuesday: Closed
*Open on December 30th - 31st: 5:00 pm - 10:30pm

Parking:

Getting to the NYC Winter Lantern Festival is easy! Best parking options are:

1. On-site VIP Parking ($20): Onsite parking passes which be purchased with your ticket. There are limited tickets, so buy early!

2. Empire Outlets Parking Garage ($10) Empire Outlets is only 1 mile from the event. Utilize this spacious parking garage and the FREE shuttle running continuously throughout the event!

3. Lantern guests are encouraged to utilize the above parking options or consider the limited street parking on Richmond Terrace or Henderson Avenue.
