The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 by John Bishop is a contemporary comedy written as a spoof celebrating the murder-mysteries of old. First appearing on Broadway in 1987, the farce is weaved with accusations, disappearances, hidden passageways, and WWII spies. As a group of actors, producers, and musicians gather at a secluded mansion during a snowstorm to audition for a new show about to hit Broadway, people start to disappear. In true Agatha Christie fashion, every guest is a potential victim! And every guest is a potential murderer! This wildly frenetic ride will keep you guessing until the very end.
