Mr. Dickens Tells A Christmas Carol 2019

Mr. Dickens Tells A Christmas Carol recreates the famous performance tour by Charles Dickens in 1867 with his classic tale bringing the travails of Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, and Tiny Tim to life. Taken from the original script, actor Mikel Von Brodbeck plays Charles Dickens and tells the well-loved tale as guests journey through the main floor of the beautifully decorated Lyndhurst mansion, meeting the different spirits and characters along the way. A newspaper wrote of Dickens at the time: “He gave to every character a different voice, a different style, a different face.” We have endeavored to bring this spirit our adaptation in a historic period setting.

Performances begin December 7^th and continue through December 29^th and run approximately 110 minutes including check-in at the Welcome Center. This is a live theater performance. Disruptive audience will be asked to leave. Appropriate for ages 8 and up.
