Mother's Day Floral Design Demo

Join Master Florist, Trish O’Sullivan and celebrate Mother’s Day as she demonstrates how to create a beautiful and professionally styled, Mother’s Day spring floral arrangement made with flower bouquets that can easily be purchased at your local grocery or box store. Watch and learn as our floral design presentation will demonstration step-by-step simple floral design techniques along with learning how to repurpose treasured heirlooms and containers found at home. Celebrate Mother’s Day by learning how to create a modern bespoke floral design blooming with beauty and charm. O’Sullivan, as an Eco Florist, will share the tips and tips of the trade for keeping flowers looking fresh and long lasting without chemicals or floral foam. The Mother’s Day demonstration arrangement will be raffled off at end the of the program to one lucky attendee!  

As one of New York City’s foremost names in floral design for the past 30 years, Emmy Award Winner and Eco-Friendly floral designer, Trish O’Sullivan, brings her floral vision, attention to detail, exuberant love of flowers and extensive floral knowledge to the classes and workshops she teaches.  Her presentation skills have enthralled and instructed hundreds of students and garden club members.

Trish O’Sullivan was the Director of the New York Botanical Garden’s Floral Design Program. She has also created acclaimed floral presentations at the New York Botanical Garden’s Annual Orchid Show, captivating audiences over the years with her extensive knowledge, crafting lush and elegant floral designs. O’Sullivan created the living walls on the Emmy Award winning set of “The Nate Berkus Show” and the evocative floral designs for the set of “The Dr. Oz Show”.  Classes and floral presentations are seasonally oriented with organically grown floral material sourced locally and from around the world.  O’Sullivan’s floral signature is an artful blending of old world masters and contemporary concepts, wild meadows and refined English gardens.

Please note, this is a demonstration only! You will be learning how to make your own arrangements, but not participating!
