Mother's Day Weekend Plant Sale

Join us on May 10th for our annual Mother's Day Weekend Plant Sale! This event will take place outside of the Welcome Center from 10am - 2pm. The first 200 tickets are free with registration through this ticket page. After those are sold out, a regular Grounds Pass will be required for entrance onto the property. These tickets do not include access to the mansion. Come shop for (or with!) your mother! Some of the offerings include many plants not usually offered by the big box stores - unusual primrose, and rock garden favorites like dwarf columbine and gentian. There will also be deer-resistant plants like allium, artemisia, carnation, geranium, and alpine baby’s breath. Some fruits and vegetables will also be on sale as well as bouquets for your mother! Red Barn Bakery will also be on site offering tasty treats. You will find something special that suits your gardening needs!

A Grounds Pass is required for entry to the Lyndhurst property seven days a week and offers general admission to the property between the hours of 9:30 am and 4:00 pm as the property closes at 5:00 pm.

• The Grounds Pass is only good for the day you are coming to the grounds.


• A Grounds Pass is necessary for those entering the property by car or on foot through the main gate.


• A Grounds Pass allows entry rain or shine and is not refundable.


• Please have your tickets ready on your mobile phone to show the gate attendant.


• Picnicking is allowed, we ask that you carry out what you carry in.


• Bowling Alley Restrooms are open daily 9:30 am - 5:00 pm, May through the end of October.


• Welcome Center Restrooms are open Thursdays-Tuesday 9:30 am - 4:00 pm, April through the end of October. 


• Children ages 5 and under do not need a Grounds Pass.
