In astrology, the appearance of a Blood Moon (also known as a Hunter's Moon or Harvest Moon) is significant as a symbol of embracing change, restoring balance, and healing wounds. For this full moon event, FWM invites you to consider related themes during a multisite evening program exploring art, dance, and nature. Start at FWM to discover Mary Reid Kelley and Patrick Kelley: Blood Moon, screenprint a glowing moon tote, then take a moonlit walk to The Rail Park to watch the dance fellows of BalletX activate this once industrialized, then abandoned, and now renewed natural setting. Participants have the option of wrapping up their evening around the corner at Love City Brewing, with a special discount extended to Moonlit attendees on their first draft beer. In the event of rain, this program will take place on Thursday, October 21.
