About Magical Winter Lights

The 2018 Magical Winter Lights ® has returned to Houston at Gulf Greyhound Park this winter from November 16, 2018 to January 6, 2019 including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. 

Magical Winter Lights has eight themed lantern sections, including the Dino and two brand-new lantern sections, entertainment by Santa Claus and the Ice Sisters, nightly acrobat performances, carnival rides & games, food, and shopping! 

Festival Hours:
Sunday-Thursday 5PM-10PM
Friday-Saturday 5PM-11PM

Extended Nights:
Thanksgiving Day                         
Christmas Eve – New Year’s Day 
5PM – 11PM 

Chinese Acrobatic Performances (included in admission):

Sunday-Thursday 6PM & 8:30PM
Friday and Saturday 7PM & 9PM

**In the event of inclement weather, Magical Winter Lights may close any of the attractions or the entire park without notice. Please attend based on your own best judgment. Your tickets can be used on any day of the festival. Parking is $5 CASH only onsite. Ticket sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges available.
