Warm up at #KingEddyYYC at The Lyricist Lounge Winter Gala, presented by 10 at 10! It's the holiday party that has it all, including spoken word poetry, rap, and R&B performances featuring Wyatt C. Louis, Nica, Zaire, Justine Tyrell, and JUNO Award-Winning artist, Miss Q-Benjamin.

About Miss Q-Benjamin
Q-Benjamin, also known as “Q” or “QB”, is a singer, songwriter and rapper from Edmonton, Canada. After winning a local talent competition in her home city of Edmonton at 16, Q had the opportunity to record music for the first time. Within just 2 short years, Q won a Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) for “R&B/Soul Recording of the Year,” and was rumoured to have been the youngest person to win the award. Shortly after winning the Juno, Q signed a record deal with a major Canadian label and moved to Toronto to pursue music full-time.

She sets out to use her intelligence, and genuine emotion to inspire and connect with her listeners through her talent. Q’s passion, drive and work ethic have built a strong foundation for her to be one of the greatest artists of her generation.

About Justine Tyrell:
Fronting her notable soul-pop duo alongside Calgary native Taylor Cullen, Justine Tyrell blends a sultry, soulful sound, with a unique style and modern edge. With taste for a fusion of eras and genre boundaries, Justine has drawn influence from artists such as Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone, and Aloe Blacc, to the classic throwbacks of Peggy Lee and Nina Simone. Having taken the stage of notable events and concerts throughout North America; Including performing at the US Embassy , Calgary's Coca Cola Stage (alongside Beatdrop) McMahon Stadium, as the Calgary Stampeders Official Anthem singer, and many more- the stage is where Justine has come to feel most at home.
