LYNX with St Mary's Tall Ship Alliance sailings

The Tall Ship Lynx is excited to make a return visit to beautiul Goilden Isles area of Georgia.  Lynx is the finast example of a War of 1812 Privateer of any ship in America, being lofetd from the plans that the British drew out of the original Lynx, captured in 1813. Our new Lynx sails an educational mission and while our days of plunder on the high seas are over - a sailing on Lynx will remind of the "life as it was" you step aboard and back in time.  Help the crew haul the lines, steer the ship or just sit back and enjoy this National Treasure as she slips her lines and heads out under the comand of her professional captain and crew who have choose this life, to show and teach traditional sailing of days gone past, we will fire a gun and talk of the history of these wonderful ships.

You are welcome to bring your food and drink, a sailing on Lynx is good for all your generations so get the family call the outlaws and support our mission of education.  Lynx hails from Nantucket, MA our partner in education is Egan Maritime Institute, of Nantucket, their curriculem is the SEA of OPPORTUNITY'S.  The Lynx Educational Foundation underwrites free access to schools, Home school, Private and Chater school acccess, our curriculem is STEM, Histoy and Marine Sciences.  A portion of each adult ticket purchased will be donated to the St Mary's Tall Ship Alliance to further enhance their organisation.
