Luminary Walk at the Arboretum

Kick off your holiday season with a festive family walk through the lights at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens!

Luminary Walk is presented by Westlake Ace Hardware, FNBO, and Sarin Energy Group. Proceeds benefit Friends of the Arboretum.

• Choose to attend on 1 of 10 nights spanning 4 weekends - Nov. 26, 27, Dec. 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18.


• $15/person; children 5 years and younger are free.


• Take a stroll along the lit pathways to experience the magical Gnome and Fairy Villages, serene winter woods by candlelight, and the colorful Children's Garden. Enjoy musical performances in four different locations. The gardens are bright with color -  while the quiet woods are lit with candles lining the walkways. Trees, buildings, and bridges are all part of the show, with thousands of lights aglow. Photos with Santa are available from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., and the trains run in the Train Garden from 5:00 to 9:30 p.m.


• Complimentary hot cider in the Children's Discovery Garden.


• Enter during the half-hour time slot you select. Last entry is at 9:00 p.m. The lights go out at 10:00 p.m.!


• Free parking


• Tickets are NOT refundable. No pets allowed. 


• Tickets are exchangeable for another night/time based on availability. On your receipt, there will be a link to swap tickets. Use that link to exchange tickets. If you have problems making the exchange, you may call 888-850-8718 for assistance.
