Longturn Presents: Unionize (End of Fall Edition)

A union is a club, society, or association formed by people with a common interest or purpose. It's an organization formed by workers who join together and use their strength to have a voice in their workplace. Our union is for creators and fans of underground house & techno music in Pittsburgh coming together for a common cause on the Cobra dance floor. It's a place where we can bring back artists who have played for us in years past and showcase new artists in our organization yet to be discovered by our audience. 

This month we invited Bear Brysk and Casey Cloonan, the creators of Skylite, a local melodic and progressive rooftop journey, to bring their stylings to our home base at Cobra. Joining them will be our very own Koopmusik for a night of melodic bliss on the dance floor in the void sound system you all know and love.

In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.

Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
