Our first party at Cobra was so fun we had to bring it back! Headlining this one is the Miami-based deep tech/minimal house DJ, producer, and tasteful selector m.O.N.R.O.E.
With releases on Get Physical, Desert Hearts, Cuttin' Headz, and many more, plus years of experience at some of the best venues in the world from Berlin to Burning Man - m.O.N.R.O.E. is sure to shine a new light on the familiar Cobra dancefloor.
Opening the floor this time will be two artists making their Longturn debut. One will be coming from Washington D.C. who originally caught our ears at Elements Music & Arts Festival. Bridget is a Nu Androids resident and frequent performer at the infamous Flash Nightclub. Also joining her will be Pittsburgh local tech/minimal house DJ and producer, Edgar Allan.

m.O.N.R.O.E. (aka Jordan Postrel), has firmly stamped his mark in the industry, churning out tracks for the iconic Get Physical label to name just one of his outstanding accolades.
With a stint in the fashion industry working with the world’s biggest fashion brands, m.O.N.R.O.E. turned to production and DJing full time at the ripe age of 19. m.O.N.R.O.E.’s first release was on Steve Lawler’s label VIVa MUSiC with his EP Don’t Flex (co-produced by DVB label boss, Daniel Dubb). This became the catalyst towards the interest and signing with Get Physical with a string of EPs, vinyl releases, and compilation mixes. Other labels’ ears picked up on his talents which lead to releases on Saved Records, In motion Music, Desert Hearts, Kindisch, Akbal, Cyclic, and The Martinez Brothers’ own Cuttin’ Headz label.
m.O.N.R.O.E.’s wide range of inspiration has been helped with residing in some of the world’s greatest cities including Berlin, Paris, New York, Ibiza, and Burning Man’s Black Rock City. Notable performances include Watergate, Sisyphos, and Katerblau (Berlin), SXM Festival, Vujaday Festival, Velvet and One Loft, Output, Desert Hearts Festival, Space and Ill Points Festival, Elements Festival, Sound Nightclub, and the infamous Burning Man camps Robot Heart, Pile Palace, Pink Mammoth, Big Imagination, and DISTRIKT.

In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.
Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
Come early, stay late, dance hard ⚒️
