Longturn Presents: Break Room w/ Good Sweat

We're bringing our Break Room event series back, but this time with a slightly different meaning. Our close friend Good Sweat is back and will be headlining our Cobra weekly series around the holidays. He'll be joined by some other local artists for a night of music chalked full of breakbeats, leftfield, and electro sounds. Think less four on the floor, more early Detroit and beyond -- and get ready to get heavy.

Two other artists will be joining him and both making their Longturn debuts. Pvkvsv from Pittsburgh Open Decks and T.Boink from Wave Motion Sound. Gonna be a stacked night of local talent around the holidays!

In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.

Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
