Robby Hoffman

Robby Hoffman is a small ex-Hasidic queer Jewish stand-up comedian, writer, and true original. She can currently be seen as the breakout of Netflix’s Verified, their new selection of next generation stand-up comedians. New York Times comedy critic Jason Zinoman compares her "bulldozing stand-up to Larry David because of her mountain-out-of-a-molehill kvetching, but her hilarious rage over people who complain about interruptions during a conversation makes her sound like a modern lesbian Andrew Dice Clay."

Also a favorite of The Times is her podcast, Too Far (with Rachel Kaly) which is described as an "addictive listen", and that  “truly great comedy emerges from combustible hostility, discord and a melodramatic sense of conflict."

She was named one of Vulture's Top “Comedians to Watch,” one of Comedy Central's “Up Next” comedians, and was on Conan O’Brien’s “Comics to Watch” list.  She has performed numerous times at the Montreal Just for Laughs festival and has twice headlined the New York Comedy Festival.  She recorded her first one-hour stand up special I’m Nervous in Toronto, available on CraveTV, and can also be seen in this year's History of the World on Hulu.

Robby is also a notable TV writer, having written on The Chris Gethard Show (TruTV), Workin' Moms (Netflix), and Baroness Von Sketch Show (IFC). In 2019, Robby won a Daytime Emmy Award for her writing work on Odd Squad(PBS). She is currently developing projects with Showtime, Warner Bros TV and A24.

She has a successful podcast with her mom that is on the top 50 comedy iTunes charts (Got It From My Mama) and it has been featured on The Late Late Show with James Corden and Pix11. Her script KUIRKY, a comedic feature based off her experience with dyslexia, won 1st place in the New York Screenplay Contest and the World Series of Screenwriting. Louis Katz

Louis Katz performs punchline heavy, New York-style stand up with a unique blend of highbrow and lowbrow humor that's been lovingly described as “cerebral filth.” Over the course of his career, Louis has been featured on NBC, HBO, and 5 times on Comedy Central, including his own half-hour special and an appearance on their storytelling show, “This Is Not Happening,” which has since been viewed over 3 million times on YouTube. His latest album, “KATZKILLS,” was named one of the top 5 comedy albums of the year by vulture.com, who called it “a raucous comedy party.” Louis’ first one-hour special was released on Epix in 2022 as part of their “Unprotected Sets” series. His latest special, "Present/Tense," was released independently on YouTube in late 2023 and became an instant hit with over a million views in just a few months.
A true comedian’s comedian, Louis’ act has garnered praise from industry legends such as Dave Attell who called him, “one of the best joke writers working today” and Ali Wong who said Louis was, “one of the funniest and most prolific comedians I know.” Marc Maron featured Louis on his WTF podcast twice saying, “His album and special are hilarious.” But perhaps Doug Stanhope put it best when he said, "Katz is funny to the point that Hitler would have given him a sleeper car on the train."
If you like your dirty jokes smart and your smart jokes a little filthy, you’re going to love Louis Katz.

Dvontre Coleman

Dvontre is a black comedian based in San Francisco, CA. Growing up Dvontre found that the best way to make new friends was to make others laugh, now he's trying to make friends around the country.

He has performed at festivals all over the country (SF Sketch Fest, Big Pine Comedy Festival, 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival). Dvontre has found a way to spread laughs in the least amount of steps possible.

With the help of Yondr bags, we at the Comedy Store create phone-free spaces for artists and comedians.

What that means: Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches are placed in Yondr cases and will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of these items at all times. Guests may also access their phones at any time only in the designated Phone Use Areas throughout the venue. All phones will be re-secured upon returning to the event space.

Anyone seen using a device during the performance in a non-designated area will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.
