Land of the Little People looks at the impact of socialization of children in a culture of war. Alpha-male ways of thinking and animalistic behavior impacts the children in this film and how they treat others. Inspired by William Golding’s Lord of the Flies, four children use an abandoned camp as a “headquarters” only to find one day that two soldiers are occupying it as well. Not to be outdone, the children scheme to take back their camp.  .
