Join Jesus Trejo and a secret lineup for a fundraiser and night of laughs in benefit of L.A. TACO!
L.A. TACO is the platform for Los Angeles, covering food, culture, and community in the metropolitan area. We are independently owned and operated by L.A. and for L.A. In our mission, we aim to bring raw and street-level journalism from all corners of L.A. County to our loyal readers, supporters, members, and partners who share our passion for Los Angeles. L.A. TACO was founded in late 2006 by its founders’ simple desire to document the things they love about the city. Over the years, we have built a passionate community of readers and contributors who keep the site and its spirit alive. In 2018, L.A. TACO relaunched as a news-first platform, bringing our readers our unique style of hyperlocal city coverage. We organize food events for the community, like our Taco Madness annual food festival, and in 2020, L.A. Taco received the first-ever Emerging Voice Award From the James Beard Foundation for our food coverage that touches on the deeper elements around food such as social justice, representation, and immigration.
We are the publication for real ones. Despite constant downsizing in the local news market, we stand strong and will be here as long as our members have us. If you love our stuff and are down for our vision of Los Angeles, we invite you to join us and help keep the L.A. TACO dream alive.

About The Belly Room
Hidden on our second floor, the Belly Room has been a testing ground for the best developing comedians over the last four decades. Not only have great comedy voices been discovered in this room but some of your favorite shows and podcasts got their start on this tiny but powerful stage. Built by Yakov Smirnoff and his father, the Belly Room is many comics' first home while they work their way up at The Store.

Seats are opened to our stand-by line 30 minutes after showtime and unused tickets are void/non-refundable. We do NOT validate any parking but there is street and lot parking available nearby. We encourage you to use rideshare apps, if possible. We do NOT accept resold tickets. Only tickets purchased through our website will be honored.
