Journey To The East @ SIUH Community Park, Staten Island

The annual Winter Lantern Festival is back for a FOURTH year to transform SIUH Community Park (new venue) into an immersive world of light! This is one of four events Winter Lantern Festival will be hosting in New York. Starting from 10/21/2022 until 1/08/2023, Journey To The East with friends and family to explore the wonders of over 1000 Chinese lanterns; all handmade by artisans. Our lanterns and light displays will light the night and bring warmth this holiday season!

This year, wander about a world inspired by Chinese myths and legends, including a larger-than-life handmade lantern display of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King. In addition, our lantern displays will include an animal kingdom, sea world, theme park, and illuminated tunnels. There will also be illuminated swings (rideable) and food vendors. Be prepared to indulge yourself, friends, and family, for photo ops!

We’ve listened to the feedback of our guests the previous years and have done our best to provide an amazing experience! With over 150,000 annual guests, this is an unforgettable festival of lights that you absolutely don’t want to miss.

LIMITED-TIME PROMO: Those who purchase 4 or more tickets to this event can also go to our Nassau Drive-Thru event for FREE. Tickets must be purchased on our ticketing provider, Showclix. Third party tickets are not allowed. Just show your order of 4 or more tickets at the the Nassau Drive-thru Adventure entrance.

HOW TO GET HERE

Getting to our events is easy! We HIGHLY recommend adding on our on-site VIP parking if you are driving.

Car & Parking: Search SIUH Community Park on your navigation or call an Uber/Lyft. The address is 75 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY 10301

NYC Ferry: Take public transport to the Battery Park City or Midtown West landings on NYC Ferry’s St. George route. Single NYC Ferry tickets are $4.00, or riders can purchase a 10-ticket pack for $27.50. Tickets can be purchased in the NYC Ferry app or via a vending machine at the landing. SIUH Community Park is directly next in front of the NYC Ferry St. George landing.

Public Transport: Take public transport to Whitehall Terminal in lower Manhattan. Take the free Staten Island Ferry to the event. SIUH Community Park is next to the ferry in Staten Island.

This is one of four dazzling events Winter Lantern Festival will be hosting in New York this 2022 holiday season. Other locations include Queens, NY, Nassau, NY, and Suffolk, NY. This event is in Staten Island, NY, and is easily accessible directly from the ferry in Downtown Manhattan.
