With the help of Yondr bags, we at the Comedy Store create phone-free spaces for artists and comedians.
What that means: Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches are placed in Yondr cases and will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of these items at all times. Guests may also access their phones at any time only in the designated Phone Use Areas throughout the venue. All phones will be re-secured upon returning to the event space.
Anyone seen using a device during the performance in a non-designated area will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.

Josh Ocean Thomas is a Tunisian-American stand-up comedian from San Diego. He is known for his magnetic stage presence, high energy, and quick wit. From funny stories about his mother to navigating relationships, embracing his mixed background, and his physical comedy, J.O.T brings a vibrant, engaging performance to the stage. Started as a child magician, but now a stand up comedian performing at comedy clubs, theaters, & college across the country. Weighing in at 160 lbs and standing (almost) six feet tall, Josh is back in his hometown on May 22nd at The Comedy Store La Jolla, right across from the elementary school where he was once crowned class clown. This show will also feature performances from the incredible Natasha Collier and Ray Lau joining us from Los Angeles. Each purchased ticket gets him one step closer to his mother’s approval.
Seating is first come, first serve.
Hecklers will be asked to leave.
